MOTIVATION LETTER

 My name is Naila Faiza Rahmasita. I’m 19 years old. I’m a first year Management of Economics and Business Faculty student in Sebelas Maret University. Being interseted in AIESEC summer exchange, I’ve been visited Singapore and Malaysia when I was in last grade Senior High School for study banding in other senior high school over there. That so made me interest for go abroad again and exchange for several time.

          In summer exchange i want to choose social volunteering in Turkey. Why social volunteering? Beacuse I think I must be forced to learn about the people, culture, and languange. I want to learn how to keep a good interaction with foreign people, and give a benefit for them. I want to introduce about Indonesian culture such as I’ll use the kebaya clothes, I can playing guitar so I’ll sing an Indonesian with playing guitar, and I can saman dance so I’ll be perform it.

              Why I choose Turkey as my journey? Because I’m moslem, and Turkey is the only one Islamic Country that location in Europe. Turkey is one of the two countries which have lands both in Asia and Europe in the world. This characteristic enables Turkey to carry different cultures and world view. Turkey has a pluralist structure ranging from its architecture to music, food culture to literature.

   Turkey always has been in the center of the events which change the course of history and host civilizations affected humankind. Turkey considers that contributing to the peace of civilizations with its different colors is one of its primary purpose.

   I have two friends that received scholarship in University over Istanbul and Cannackale. I like their photo that they shared in their social media. Not only that, they too share about their feeling become a new student in abroad city, their life with their friends from various country, and their struggle when they must stand firm far away and missed their family.

I hope I not only imagine about stay in abroad, especially in Turkey. But I should be realize and make God, my family, and my friends proud of me. By Aiesec Summer Exchange program, I can reach my dream become true. Aamiin J
